Interesting, considering the increasing rate of curtailment when you add it to the claimed capacity factor of each site. 

That would make a huge dent in the CF, in the same way they artificially lower CF on coal/gas when they’re ordered offline during the day to make way for RE based on bids/negative bids. 

I still say the entire NEM model is a fact for a manipulated trading scheme where the despatchers can create their own arbitrage. Like why do batteries or hydro come online for that last few MW when baseload could have filled the pipeline? Because the 5-minute despatch rate is set by the highest bidder for the last MW demand forecast. It stinks of market manipulation
