According to the US AI Czar, selling the H20 is an old policy but also a "depreciated" chip to capture the Chinese market so @Huawei doesn't sell a competing technology to the world. I thought export controls were to China. I'm guessing we want Chinese AI innovation and SW based on US tech and not Chinese tech.
