A) The Taylor rule isn’t perfect, but it’s a reasonable thing to look at, and it is currently saying rates should be almost precisely where they are, X% lower is bat**** insane

B) “Costing us a ton of money” seems pretty crazy. There is another side of the ledger, those who receive interest. If we just save or even make money from lower rates, why stop at down X from here?

C) Just another non-economic intellectually silly boogeyman to direct (misdirect) populist anger at; that’s what populists at both ends of the horseshoe do

D) Never go full Pulte
