The central government authorised NTPC to invest up to Rs XXXXXX crore (up from Rs XXXXX crore earlier) in NTPC Green and other JVs/subsidiaries to achieve XX GW renewable energy capacity by 2032. It also said that India now has over XX% of its installed power coming from non-fossil fuel sources (5 years ahead of its 2030 Paris Agreement target).
