Allegations surfaced in April 2025 from a UK-based judicial rights group, Casisa, claiming South African officials were aware of Hamas’ plans and supported their political strategy by facilitating access to the International Criminal Court @ICC and International Court of Justice @ICJ. These claims, made by Justin Lewis, suggested preparations were made before the attack to protect Hamas from Israel’s response. 


South Africa’s government, @MYANC  has consistently condemned the October X attack, with Cyril Ramaphosa denouncing atrocities against civilians while also criticizing Israel’s subsequent actions in Gaza.
