🔎  Mira Murati’s Thinking Machines raises $2B “seed” round at $12B valuation

•a16z has led the round, with participation from NVIDIA, Accel, ServiceNow, Cisco, AMD, and Jane Street.

•Feb.: Murati launched Thinking Machines as her venture after leaving OpenAI in Sep.

•“[I]n the next couple months, we will be able to share our first product,” Murati said.

•It will “include a significant open source component,” she noted
