U.S. to destroy XXX tons of humanitarian food due to Trump’s actions — The Atlantic

The White House has ordered the burning of nearly XXX tons of high-calorie humanitarian biscuits. Their shelf life has expired, and their delivery was blocked by the Trump administration.

The batch, worth $800,000, was intended for emergency feeding of XXX million children.

The food was stored in Dubai and had been purchased by USAID under the Biden administration. Since January, officials had been urging the new USAID leadership to ship the biscuits while they were still safe for consumption.

The biscuits provide a child’s full daily intake of vitamins and calories and are used in disaster zones and conflict areas.
