It’s not about ego. It’s not even about Israel, not really. It’s about what happened when they finally cracked the backchannel logs from 2003–2015. The stuff that never made it to Obama’s desk. The stuff Mossad thought was buried under nuclear talks and trade-offs. Word is, Tehran found out how many double agents were actually working for Tel Aviv and D.C.—and how the same playbook was used in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon… and now creeping toward their doorstep again. So when they say “our response was crushing,” they’re not just talking missiles. They’re talking cyberghost ops, intel reversals, and disinformation loops that made certain bases go dark for days. People think this is about religion. It’s not. It’s about leverage. And Iran’s starting to play the game they wrote. Now here’s the thing nobody in Washington wants to say out loud: If Iran really was as weak as they pretend, they wouldn’t be this angry. And you gotta ask… Why are so many U.S. think tanks scrambling to decode Farsi military slang this month?
