The lives of Syrians are much more important than Syrian national pride and sovereignty. 
If sovereignty means Druze Syrians must die, then there should be no Syrian sovereignty.
If Palestine means Palestinians should die, then there should be no Palestine.
Lives of individuals trump sovereignty behind which egocentric and corrupt autocrats hide, whether Khamenei, Saddam, Nasrallah, Assad, Sharaa, Meshaal or Abbas.
