Peter Obi saying he couldn’t make it because “Katsina airport was closed due to too many dignitaries” is peak Nigerian elite excuse. So let’s get this straight — private jets were parked like Uber rides, but no one thought of rescheduling, rerouting, or even touching down in a nearby state?

When regular Nigerians miss flights, they trek, take night buses, or sleep at the motor park. But for someone who’s always preaching simplicity and empathy, this excuse just sounds… privileged.

If you couldn’t make it, own it. But don’t blame traffic at the VIP terminal. That’s not humility — that’s a PR stumble in agbada. 🛩️🙄
