Message from the IDF:

“Following the series of overnight attacks against Syrian regime forces, the Chief of the General Staff, Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, ordered additional reinforcement of collection and strike assets and the redeployment of forces to the Northern Command to increase the pace of strikes and halt attacks against the Druze in Syria. 

The IDF is committed to the deep alliance with our Druze brothers and, as part of this, is striking targets across Syria to protect them in the As-Suwayda region, the Druze Mountain, and wherever necessary. 

The 210th Division sector will be reinforced with additional forces in the border area and at security zone outposts. 

Uncontrolled crossing of the fence into Syria endangers the Druze and our forces and must be stopped immediately”
