About X weeks ago Karen in apartment 1002 and I'm in 1007 knocked on my door because she wanted to make a cake for her brother's birthday and didn't know what kind of sugar she should use. And I thought to myself this woman will do anything to find an excuse to talk to me. She does this all the time about absolutely nothing. Carol on the second floor about a month ago asked me for my phone number because she would like me to come to her apartment someday and we could sit and play Scrabble because she thinks I have a good vocabulary. Pat on the 7th floor knocked on my door barely standing up with her walker and asked if I would come to her apartment sometime if we could set up an appointment to visit so I can help her make a list of the utensils and any other items I could think of that we need for the Community kitchen. A new woman Bridget moved in last week and she's in a wheelchair and she told Dana I like that guy with the white hair and the good looking legs and Dana told her, “you keep your hands off those legs. Those are mine.” Then there's Liz on the 8th floor who is very upset because she came up to me asking if it was true about the rumor that I made cookies for Glenda when in fact I made cookies a week before for Liz but she thought she was the only one. My life. Cancer is a breeze. I hate breaking hearts.
