All of these organizations are beginning to bring tokenized stocks on-chain, which is just one of the many types of real world assets. This is over 100T in value that is untapped. Existing clearing houses are not as efficient as these new systems that are available to revamp the financial system. Sure, you could complain about five years of holding. But really it has been five years of preparation for this event that is happening globally. The world is actually changing.
