⚠️ Quantum Threat to Bitcoin? Community Considers Freezing Satoshi’s Coins! 🙀

A new Bitcoin Improvement Proposal by Jameson Lopp and others suggests phasing out quantum-vulnerable addresses, which currently hold ~25% of all $BTC, including Satoshi’s legendary stash. 💰

🧠 The fear: Advancing quantum computers could crack old wallets and trigger a mass sell-off.

🔐 The fix:

▪️Disallow sending to weak addresses
▪️Prevent old $BTC from being spent (within X years)
▪️ Optional: A future BIP to safely recover frozen coins
