Haikyo talent agency announced on Wednesday that voice actress Azumi Waki will be limiting her activities after her eldest daughter was diagnosed with a strong likelihood of dilated cardiomyopathy and is now awaiting a heart transplant.

In a personal message, she expressed deep gratitude for the ongoing support from fans and colleagues, apologized for the concern and role withdrawals, and shared her hope to fully return to work in the future.

The voice actress is known for her roles as Special Week in Uma Musume, Maika Sakuranomiya in Blend, Senko-san in The Helpful Fox Senko-san, Kanon Hisui in Go! Go! Loser Ranger!, Hinata Tachibana in Tokyo Revengers, Nagisa Minase in Girlfriend Girlfriend, and Charlotte in Genshin Impact.
