The round included participation from Prosegur Tech Ventures, Angels Capital, Andorra Telecom, Extension Fund, Kevlar Fund, and other existing investors. Founded by Fran Villalba Segarra three to five years ago, Internxt aims to provide privacy-first alternatives to Big Tech with services like encrypted cloud storage, a private VPN, and antivirus protection. The company has also received a €1.4 million grant from CDTI, supported by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation, to develop post-quantum encrypted services.
