Well, not quite. Depends on what you are talking about. US companies continue to be at the top of the leader board for AI models, see Grok X and xAI. In terms of semiconductor design, again, Nvidia, Apple, Broadcom, Qualcomm, Marvell, etc. all clear leaders in their market segments. Semiconductor manufacturing and packaging for advanced nodes? TSMC hands down.  It makes little sense talking about whether "US" or "China" is leading in a specific category, need get down to the company level, and all are part of globalized supply chains also...
