The A340-300 really is a beautiful machine with a character arc of its own: once the king of long-haul routes, now a flying tribute to pre-ETOPS overengineering.
Still, there’s something majestic about watching one lumber off the runway at MIA, defying physics with grace (and a lot of fuel).
