Big gold mining news: AngloGold Ashanti is acquiring Augusta Gold for C$1.70/share in a C$152M (US$111M) deal. A XX% premium over yesterday’s close. $AU $G

This move helps AngloGold consolidate its position in Nevada’s Beatty District, one of the fastest-growing gold regions in the U.S. 🇺🇸

•Reward (feasibility stage project)
•Bullfrog deposit
•Surrounding tenements
All strategically located next to AngloGold’s holdings.

AngloGold will also repay US$32.6M in Augusta stockholder loans, strengthening Augusta’s balance sheet before full integration.

The deal closes in Q4 2025, subject to shareholder approval. Augusta will become a wholly-owned subsidiary and its stock will be delisted.
