1) Base Chian by Coinbase No Airdrop. 

Still Boomed.

When Base mainnet launched, everyone expected a fat airdrop.

Instead? Nothing.

No token. No farming. Just pure product velocity backed by Coinbase.
And it worked.

Base became one of the most active L2s because:
Coinbase funneled millions of users onto it
Big devs like FriendTech & Farcaster moved in
Even the biggerst AI agent went in Virtuals 
Focus was on usage, not speculation

Takeaway: Distribution > token in some cases. 

The “airdrop” was UX and traffic, and even though gas and minimal, the blockchain still ran fine and made money too (will go into how blockhains make money to maintain itself in a later thread) (2/5)
