I've never been a fan of Solana (and till date, i can't really put my finger on why) 

But wouldn't you say that infrastructure wise, Ethereum has been doing great to combat those critcisms? 

I'm speaking from a user perspective because I remember when I had to transfer ETH from BlockFi to my MM and that took like an hour and like $XX in gas? 

These days it's almost instant and gas is cheap despite hire on-chain volume and activity.

My point is, if Ethereum can transform, what's stopping SVM from doing so? Assuming they also have a more robust architecture. 

Again, never really used nor a big fan of Solana so just a question right off the top of my head
