Understanding $QUAI and $QI

@QuaiNetwork is building a full monetary system with two native coins , QUAI and QI , each with its own purpose but working together to power the ecosystem.

✅Why Two Coins?

🔹 QUAI

Think of QUAI like Bitcoin plus programmability.

It’s designed to store value long term.

The more the network grows, the more value QUAI can accrue.

It acts as a programmable layer for smart contracts, DeFi, and more.

🔹 QI

QI is like crypto cash , a stable unit for everyday payments.

Its value stays linked to the cost of energy, so it keeps steady purchasing power.

It’s designed for high volume transactions , pay, trade, spend, repeat.

⛏️ How They’re Mine 

Both coins come from the same PoEM mining process (Proof of Entropy Minima).

Miners can choose which coin they want as a reward , QUAI or QI , block by block.

This means mining more QI means less new QUAI and vice versa.

Miners can also lock their coins longer to get a bigger reward.

🔄 How Conversion Works

You can swap QUAI ⇄ QI anytime, directly on-chain.

When you swap, the protocol burns what you give and mints the new coin.

There’s no fixed peg or collateral , it’s fully algorithmic.
