#OTD in 1977.

At Silverstone, James Hunt (McLaren-Ford-M26) delighted his home fans by winning the British GP, his first victory of the World Championship season. Niki Lauda finished 2nd in a Ferrari 312T2. Gunnar Nilsson (Lotus-Ford-78) was 3rd for his 4th & last podium.
