Argentina’s Supreme Court upheld a corruption conviction against former President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner and eight others in the so-called “Vialidad” case, related to fraudulent public works contracts in Santa Cruz Province.

In addition to a six-year prison sentence, the court ordered the group to repay approximately $XXX million to the state. This amount is based on XXX billion Argentine pesos, the estimated financial damage caused by the fraud.

If the ordered repayment is not made within XX days, the state will seize assets from the convicted individuals.
