You paid for these engines with taxpayer money and you’re getting them late. Peculiar to celebrate strategic defense imports from those who sabotage their military operations, bankroll a state sponsor of terror, and push for regime change in India and its neighborhood. This is expected since GOI did not prioritize an indigenous jet engine program for a decade. Did you really think India could build a jet engine with a shoestring budget and bureaucratic red tape? Ten years of failure. It’s time for some accountability. This tweet would have been marginally acceptable if at least a functional prototype was ready by now. 

The opposition is in the pits. They will never question your government on these failures. So, taking the public for a ride because there is no electoral alternative has become the default mode of the party.
