Zionists met with the SS to enlist them in facilitating emigration to Palestine. Zionists offered to spy for Eichmann in exchange for his support of emigration to Palestine. Zionists offered to devote their entire military organization to the Nazi cause. Zionists' main efforts during the war was not to help Jews or hinder the Holocaust. It was to collaborate with whoever they could to support their colonization efforts in Palestine. In this, they saw the Holocaust not as an atrocity that must be opposed, but as a tool that could be exploited. To call that a "sterotype" is like saying "Nazis are fascist" is a stereotype.
