Nobody there seems to understand what we are doing, because we are literally light years ahead of you. I resent this idea that we are only working with small players. I invited your team to the CF seminar, and nobody showed up. We will be able to onboard large institutional players and I already have meetings lined up with a 4.5B entity in realFi and another in tradFi. Stop trying to put us in a box. You are directly competing with us and our catalyst proposal. The value of what we are building will go to the ecosystem, not to greedy centralized actors like yourselves. We were nice enough to reach out to you in an attempt to collaborate, despite your poor track record and reputation with the Cardano community. You blew it. Over the years, I've grown increasingly frustrated with the way you've conducted your business. I've spoken with other founders, vendors, and founding entity team members. Emurgo has been detrimental to Cardano's progress. Period. It would've been much better for you to separate yourself and go spend your ADA on horrible investments and leave the rest of us to create a real business arm for Cardano. You've held the entire ecosystem back, and your flashy marketing with no substance is too little/too late as far as I'm concerned. Symbolically, IOHK acted as CTO, CF as COO, and Emurgo CEO. Emurgo would and should have been fired a long time ago. You should be acting modestly, not trying to defend yourselves. Cardano has lagged behind other chains because of your ineffectiveness. This is just the truth. It's just business. As I told Phillip, it is wrong to use your founder status and genesis ada to gain leverage with projects outside of the Cardano ecosystem. You have failed as a founding entity. You also tried to use your status and genesis ada to game the governance system as well. Projects who've been building here had an expectation of Emurgo. An expectation you've created. And you've failed us time and time again. You've failed the ecosystem participants. You've burdened us with the risk and the sacrifice, while you put your misguided efforts elsewhere. I think you are a completely tone deaf and ineffective organization and we will gladly compete with you. You are no threat to us and the power of decentralization and the Cardano community.
