U.S. Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth has ordered the withdrawal of half of the XXXXX National Guard troops deployed to Los Angeles in June during protests against President Donald Trump's anti-immigration crackdown. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass called the move an "important victory.
