President @officialABAT did everything, and even more for Baba, his longtime political ally. His actions during these deeply emotional days were not only presidential but extremely personal. He didn’t just give instructions, he personally took part in everything. It was so unprecedented.

From the moment the news of Baba’s passing, he ensured that everything was done with honor, dignity and respect. He gave clear directives, mobilized the necessary agencies and still made time to be personally involved and be there.

He personally receive Baba’s remains at the airport and rather than take the prepared presidential chopper to Daura, he chose to travel by road from Katsina to Daura alongside the body. That decision spoke volumes. 🫡

He was in Daura to personally make the final salute to a true ally. Mun gode, Mr. President.
