Hamilton reveals: — Lewis Hamilton discussed the possibility of a sequel to 'F1: The Movie' following its impressive box office performance. Speaking to media, Hamilton remarked: “Well if I had I wouldn't be telling you right now, firstly. But no I saw someone talk about it, but it's like we literally just finished it. So I think the last thing we want right now is a sequel.” — Hamilton elaborated on the reasons for not rushing into a sequel, emphasizing the extensive effort involved in the original production: “It's been four years in the making, it was a lot of work, particularly for like Joe (Kosinski, the movie's director). It's time away from your family, it's time away from your kids and so, and also you just need this to just simmer for a while, like just enjoy it. I think the worst thing we probably could do is to rush into doing a sequel.” — He further expressed his views on the quality of sequels and the importance of taking time to improve: “Most sequels are way worse and so we don't need to rush it. I think if we do do a sequel, I would say let's really, really take our time in getting it even better.” — Hamilton also shared his thoughts on the next steps for the film's crew, suggesting a unique approach: “I think right now it's about, which I don't know if they've ever done before, but I've asked them to do like a debrief. So let's review what we did, what we could have done better. I don't know if they do that in the movie business but it's something obviously I've learned from here and so I'm going to try to apply that to future programmes that I do.” #lewishamilton 🇬🇧 VIA: [gpblog] XXX engagements **Related Topics** [box office](/topic/box-office) [lewis hamilton](/topic/lewis-hamilton) [f1](/topic/f1) [formula 1](/topic/formula-1) [Post Link](https://x.com/ThisIsFormu1a1/status/1945227772835848392)
