A former Deputy Minister of Agriculture, former Deputy Minister for Water Resources & Housing, past Member of Parliament, and now the National Women’s Leader of the ruling party, a true voice for African women in politics. The moment I shared my journey with her, she was visibly emotional. She held my hands, prayed for me like a mother, and it felt like she had known me all her life. She promised to support the vulnerable children, IDPs, and orphans through the GoFundMe, and even went further to offer to call ahead to the next country I’ll be entering, just to make sure I’m safe. Her care, humility, and warmth left me speechless. Mama Hanna, God bless you.
