Reading my posts from yesterday and today, then reading Ambassador Barak’s statement, you’d be forgiven for thinking I drafted it. Well, of course I didn’t. But maybe having both fingers on the pulse and neither in the hysteria jar helps. Genocide? Ethnic cleansing? Everyone’s tossing buzzwords to drag others in. Policy made in panic tends to backfire - you want to protect people, you end up endangering them. Prudence isn’t cowardice. It’s just the opposite of stupidity.
