Driverless Ubers are going global.

Uber is teaming up with Baidu to roll out thousands of autonomous Apollo Go cars outside the U.S. and mainland China, starting later this year in Asia and the Middle East.

The move expands Baidu’s robotaxi business internationally, and gives Uber a partner with real-world driverless tech already on the road.

Baidu shares rose XXX% after the announcement.
