we don't agree on what AGI means, so how would we know it's here?

maybe LLMs already perform like AGI, it depends on the definition

even basic tasks like token prediction show complex behaviors, and we're still learning

are LLMs conscious? probably not, at least not how we usually define it

but does AGI need consciousness?
