With all due respect to Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian, your country’s decision to continuously buy cheap Russian oil to benefit its economy and prop up Putin’s barbaric war machine is out of bounds in the 21st century.

We all seek a better relationship with China. The best way to have a better relationship is for China to step up the plate and use its influence to drive Putin to the peace table to end this bloodbath in Ukraine.

I would urge China to use its influence to avoid further conflict.
