#WATCH | Mumbai, Maharashtra: On the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) rejecting the application of treating the accused as an adult in the Pune Porsche car case, Advocate Prashant Patil, says, "The matter was argued almost a month ago; today the matter was listed before the Juvenile Justice Board, Pune. The essence of the application moved by the state of Maharashtra was that the juvenile should be treated as an adult, and they made conditional allegations in that particular application... However, we laid down the law and the parameters of the rule of law as it stands today in the country... The Supreme Court has laid down that in such cases, there are certain parameters that have to be decided in which a heinous offence has to be defined... This particular case does not fall within the parameters of the heinous offence..."
