Stu Sternberg selling the Tampa Bay Rays at $1.7bn a pretty incredible story. Guy was equity options trader, went to Spear Leeds & Kellogg, then partner at Goldman until 2002. Buys Rays for $220mm in 2004, XX% share, so he's in at ~$100mm. Sells rays XX years later at $1.7bn
