_ Resolved it by slot-swapping, acquiring a slot from another parachain to continue operations  .

Litentry
+ Lease expired April 2024.
+ They prepared for expiry by placing a new auction bid and using a self-funded bid to prevent chain removal, ensuring continuity .

Generic slot expiry
+ $DOT returns to backers, and the chain transitions to parathread unless it wins a new slot via auction or swaps
