Unpopular Opinion: 

I think #Cardano DeFi won’t grow big until there is a partner chain that has low latency, fast finality and a much larger throughout. 

Cardano has chosen to scale in a monolithic fashion, which limit its potential. 

One chain simply can’t be everything to everyone and I do not think Leios with 50tps fits the bill for DEFI use cases. 

Luckily there is a way out: 

@ApexFusion is developing a partner chain called #Vector that is fast, promises super quick finality and can accommodate DeFi use cases with its much higher throughput. 

The tooling for APEX Fusion is developed by IOG veterans, who know #Cardano stack really well. 

For example, the chief architect of Cardano Duncan Couts is one of them. 

I expect some neat innovations coming from this ecosystem. 

The stuff that will propel crypto onto the new frontiers and breathe a new life into Cardano #DeFi.
