I was delighted to be joined by Governor @henrymcmaster and @SenatorTimScott at yesterday’s groundbreaking ceremony for the Charleston International Airport’s West Gate Expansion Project. The Charleston area has seen significant population and visitor growth over the past XX years, and the Charleston International Airport is a vital economic engine for our state.
 
Last year, I was able to secure $XX million in congressionally directed spending to help @iflyCHS meet a growing need.
 
With the completion of this project, passengers flying through Charleston can soon look forward to a faster and smoother flying experience.
