Here’s the deal.

You have your current Tier X artists, who never fluctuate too much. They are like apple stock

Then you have legacy artists with enormous back catalog, the XX cents, jay z, wiz khalifa, their cruising altitude wont fluctuate too much and will always stay in that 30-45 range

But then you have these new artists that majors prop up to become tier one, and they go up and down like Gamestop Stock

They are frankly tier X , being propped up as tier 1s so you see peaks and valleys
