Vince Vaughn recently talked about why Hollywood stopped making good comedy films.

He blames it on studios playing it safe and the obsession with creating films based on existing IP instead of the “IP” of just relatable life situations: “a girl turning 16”, “a person cutting school” or “be in a fraternity [as an adult]”.
