Great breakdown Mike.  The real unlock isn’t just tokenising equities. It’s proving, verifiably, that what’s tokenised actually exists and behaves as expected. It's a point I have hammered home again and again.

That’s exactly the problem which @Truebitprotocol solves. You can prove custody, solvency, execution, and compliance off-chain, and anchor those proofs on-chain. No IOUs as you yourself say. No black boxes. If you want to use a wrapped equity as collateral, then the smart contract needs proof that the asset still exists and is still held! 

I hope to see a @FigureMarkets and @Truebitprotocol collaboration.
