Moments ago, IAF aircraft—guided by Military Intelligence and Northern Command—carried out strikes on several Hezbollah terror targets in the Beqaa region of Lebanon. The targets included Radwan Force compounds where terrorists and weapons depots used by Hezbollah were identified. These military compounds are used by Hezbollah to train and prepare terrorists for attacks against IDF forces and the State of Israel. As part of this training, operatives conduct live-fire exercises and drills with various types of weapons. Hezbollah’s Radwan Force is the unit that for years led the planning of the “Conquest of the Galilee” operation. Its commanders were eliminated in Beirut and southern Lebanon in September 2024 during Operation Northern Arrows. Since then, the unit has worked to rebuild its capabilities. The Radwan Force represents Hezbollah’s primary ground threat, and the IDF has been operating for the past two years to prevent it from restoring its strength. Hezbollah’s activity and weapons storage at these sites constitute a clear violation of understandings between Israel and Lebanon and pose a future threat to the State of Israel. The IDF will continue to act with force to eliminate any threat to Israel and prevent Hezbollah from rebuilding its terror infrastructure.
