A reminder from the Ministry of Agriculture: the Sugar Development Levy took effect on 1st July 2025, charging X% on both locally sold and imported sugar.

Remittance is due by the 10th of the following month for domestic sugar and by the 15th for imported sugar, with KRA as the collection agent.
