$HUM.ax has provided an update on the Chairman's offer to acquire the company stating that the Chairman will commence due diligence this week, after the shares have traded through terms. There was also, in my opinion, a key change in language in the announcement.

Previously the IBC had said "there is no certainty that TAG and hummgroup will enter into a binding SID or that a transaction will proceed."

Now the IBC is saying "due diligence does not guarantee that the Indicative Proposal will result in a binding offer or one that is capable of being recommended by the IBC."

To my mind, the inclusive of this language is a subtle indication that the IBC does not consider the current offer is capable of being recommended.
