Harry Potter is back, and this time it’s a series. HBO officially started production on its highly anticipated "Harry Potter" TV series adaptation and released the very first look at the new chosen one.

The image shows newcomer Dominic McLaughlin suited up as Harry Potter, complete with the iconic round glasses, Hogwarts robes, and yes, the lightning bolt scar. Fans instantly drew comparisons to Daniel Radcliffe’s original portrayal, though McLaughlin’s version is poised to lead a whole new generation of Potterheads.
The show began production at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in the UK, and is expected to debut in 2027.
