🇺🇸 POWELL CALLS AUDIT AS TRUMP TORCHES FED’S $2.5B HQ RENOVATION

After weeks of Trump slamming the Fed for “printing money to build palaces,” Jerome Powell just asked the inspector general to review the now $2.5B DC renovation project.

The Eccles Building facelift - meant to fix asbestos, modernize infrastructure, and update code - is now under fire for ballooning costs and “fiscal mismanagement.”

Trump’s camp is calling it Versailles XXX. Powell’s calling for oversight.

Reminder: The Fed isn’t taxpayer-funded. 

But in an election year? Optics are the currency.
