If hating the criminals is justifiable, so is hating the non-criminals. They both want the same thing, which is to replace you and impoverish your people. The criminals are just willing to do it right away, whereas the non-criminals are playing the long game. 

You can make the argument that we should operate with righteous anger and not hate but that's a different argument.
