He followed the Bible so faithfully that it often brought inconvenience not just to us, his children but even to himself in countless ways. I’m XX now, but my dad began preparing us for his death as early as when I was XX. He will tell us exactly what to do the day he dies. His last words to me, when I visited him in his room last Thursday before leaving for Abuja, were: “I thank Jehovah for giving me a son like you who has given me so much. I am prepared to go and rest, and wait for when Jehovah calls me during the Resurrection .” He remained strong until his final breath no sign of weakness, not even at the end.
